Osprey Flight with Koi

For a few weeks, you could count on a regular visit from a female Osprey coming to Huntley for an early morning meal. On this day, the Osprey was able to come up with a fish on her very first dive. The fish capture happened on the other side of the park, but this Osprey was nice enough to perform a fly by in front of me, her prize in her claws on her exit out of the park back to her nest. I had some difficulty locking focus on the bird due to the busy tree background, but I was able to grab this capture.
